L. Douglas Lioon was the founder and CEO of Douglas Laboratories*/HVL Inc. Under Doug’s leadership, Douglas Labs* grew to become one of the largest international dietary supplement companies in the Heath Care Practitioner channel. Douglas Labs* provided pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplements to over 15,000 health care professionals, which include Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Naturopath Physicians and Licensed Nutritionists.

As the CEO and an integral member of the custom formulations team, he was responsible for the creation and direction of over 1000 science based private nutritional supplements for his doctors and practitioners. All of these products were manufactured under certified GMP’s that met the pharmaceutical grade standards with pure ingredients and precise dosages that were guaranteed.

His doctrine over the years has been clear to all of those with whom he works: “Be the trusted quality source of the products you sell, and listen to your customers to drive innovation.”

He carried this out by always being accessible to the 400+ team members throughout his years at the helm of the brand he built over 35 years.
Doug is also involved in real estate projects, food and beverage industry, a member of YPO/WPO, and is a board member of several charities and companies.
